Krka Waterfalls & Sibenik tour from Split Croatia
When we slow down, stop the busywork, and take in beautiful natural surroundings, not only do we feel restored, but our mental performance improves too.
After we pick you up at pre-arranged meeting point, prepare yourself for a full day adventure. Visit most famous landscapes of the Krka National Park. Passing through Dalmatian hinterland and leaving city behind, you will enjoy in perfect view of coast and islands. Our first stop is Skradinski Buk, seventh, final and longest travertine barrier on the Krka River.
The Krka National Park is a spacious, largely unchanged region of exceptional natural value. This park has an outland promenade walk with wooden paths. During your walking tour, you will stop and admire the most beautiful parts with numerous waterfalls and cascades especially the largest of them all – Skradinski Buk, which cascades over 17 natural barriers and plunges 125 feet. There will be an opportunity also to visit one of the old watermills as well the small ethnographic museum.
Before leaving this paradise on earth you might want to enter the river and let the clear water relax you. Refresh yourself and swim in one of the designated pools. After that you will have a free time to have a lunch with lush scenery on cascading waterfalls. Our next destination is Šibenik with its highlight – the St. Jacob’s Cathedral World heritage site. We will return to Trogir along the beautiful coast, passing picturesque villages and islands, such as Primošten, Rogoznica and return back to Split.
