The Blue Lagoon is a natural saltwater lagoon located in the vicinity town of Trogir on the island Drvenik Veli in Croatia. It is known for its crystal clear waters and stunning surroundings, and is a popular tourist destination for those looking to relax and take a refreshing dip in the lagoon. The lagoon is surrounded by 2 small islet and is located a 8 nautical miles from city of Trogir. There are several small beaches around the lagoon. The lagoon is also popular for snorkeling, as the clear waters allow for good visibility and there are a variety of marine life to be seen. To visit the Blue Lagoon, you can take a speedboat tour from Split or from Trogir.
There is also an harbour on Drvenik Veli island which is connected with ferries from city Trogir, but to wallk from Drvenik Veli harbour to Blue Lagoon we dont reccomend in summer time.
The Blue Lagoon is a popular tourist destination and can get quite crowded during peak season, so it is best to visit early in the morning or late in the afternoon to avoid the crowds. It is also a good idea to bring plenty of sunscreen and a hat to protect yourself from the sun, as the lagoon is located in a sunny spot on the island.
